Aztech's PSD500 dongle lets you easily build your own cloud

Want an affordable way to build a personal cloud for your files? Aztech has just launched a PSD500 ‘personal storage dongle’ that let you do just that.

With a WAN port on one end and a USB 2.0 host port on the other, the PSD500 basically goes between your router and USB hard drive. Power it up with the supplied micro-USB power adapter, install the Aztech Storage Android or iOS app, and you’ll be able to access the USB storage device (up to 2TB, both NTFS and FAT32 file systems are supported) anytime and anywhere as long as you’ve internet access. Up to eight users can connect to the PSD500 simultaneously.

The PSD500 is also designed for Aztech’s WIPC408HD, WIPC409HD-E, WIPC410HD, and WIPC411FHD IP cameras for remote video with audio recordings. Up to two Aztech IP cameras can utilize the Aztech PSD500’s externally attached storage for recording live video with audio feeds.

The Aztech PSD500 is expected to be available at retail stores in August 2016, at a retail price of S$99.
