Aztech's new WIPC309HD was designed to make remote video surveillance affordable.
Despite its rather compact dimensions, it has a 2-megapixel CMOS image sensor that allows it record at 1080p Full-HD.
It also has a pretty decent field of view of 110°. However, unlike Aztech wireless IP cameras, the WIPC309HD doesn't pan or tilt. This helps keep its price low.
On the bright side, the WIPC309HD does have a microSD card slot with support for microSD cards of up to 64GB.
It also has a motion detection feature, which can be used to detect unwanted movements and send notifications to your phone.
Users can use the new AzCam app to view footage from anywhere in the world as long as they have a data connection.
The Aztech WIPC309HD will be available from the middle of March onwards. It will also have a special launch price of S$59 (U.P S$69).
