Audioengine’s 512 adds a portable speaker option to their line-up

Audioengine’s 512 Portable Speaker has just launched in Singapore, and it comes with a class-D amplifier with 10W RMS per channel, and up to 12 hours of playback on a single charge. The speaker measures 3-inch x 7.75-inch x 3-inch and weighs 4.6kg. The cabinet is made of high-impact polycarbonate, and it’s powered by 2-inch woofers with advanced voice coils and a 3.75-inch by 1.75-inch passive radiator.    

According to Audioengine, the 512 is said to deliver tight, firm bass, solid midrange, and clean highs. This runs on Bluetooth 5.0, and has a 3.5mm stereo mini-jack for analog connections. It supports the SBC codec and the A2DP, AVRCP profiles, with a 30m outdoor range and typical range of 10m indoors. It charges via micro-USB.

It’s available now at AV One, and Lazada for S$299 in a choice of Black or Green.
