Audeze’s latest iSINE LX in-ear headphones offer great sound for less cost

Audeze’s line of iSINE in-ear headphones are unique in that they use planar magnetic technology that’s normally associated with full-sized over-ear headphones. And now, they’ve just got a new member – the iSINE LX – and it’s their cheapest yet.

iSINE LX will retail for just US$199, and Audeze says it will contain all of their patented technology.  It will use power-enhancing Fluxor magnets and their patented Uniforce voice-coil technology to deliver clear, accurate and spacious sound with “spectacular” bass.

THD is said to be as low as 0.1% even at high volumes, and the headphones will work with REVEAL, a set of free plugins that can be used for mixing and mastering music on the go. REVEAL is compatible with most popular digital audio workstations and is available for both MAC and PC.

The iSINE LX will come with a standard 1.5m audio cable, but Apple users can purchase it with a CIPHER lightning cable for an additional US$60. This cable lets you get digital audio directly from your Apple device, feeding it directly into its own DAC and amplifier for improved audio and calls.

The iSINE LX is available for purchase online now, but is being limited exclusively to customers in the USA.
