When big game announcements are on the horizon, leaks are usually right around the corner too. The latest of these is quite a shocker: Atlus’ critically acclaimed RPG games Persona 3 and 4 are reportedly coming to PC!

Rumours of a Persona-related announcement spread like wildfire when Atlus first announced their presence at the upcoming PC Gaming Show event on June 13. Industry insiders Sabi and Nibel confirmed that Atlus was bringing Persona 3 and 4 to PC, and Daniel Ahmad later stated that it would be announced and released on the same day. Gematsu also reported that the announcement would be made at the PC Gaming Show.

Soon after, a new listing for Persona 4 Golden popped up on SteamDB, with the website’s developer also confirming its legitimacy on Twitter. A support page for Persona 4 Golden’s anti-piracy software Denuvo also appeared, further lending credence to these rumours.

Currently, Persona 3 is only playable on PlayStation 2 and PSP, while Persona 4 Golden is locked to the PlayStation Vita. Considering how widely popular Persona 5 has become, it’s no surprise that Atlus has decided to dig up past games in the series and make them available to a wider audience. Hopefully, Persona 3 and 4 eventually arrive on other platforms as well - like the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.

Update: Persona 4 Golden has now launched on Steam!
