The ASUS Vivobook 13 Slate OLED was made for those who want to have fun on the road. Like its predecessor 2021 predecessor, the 13.3-inch detachable 2-in-1 laptop comes with a brilliant 1,920 x 1,080-pixel OLED display validated by Dolby Vision Pantone and a quad-speaker Dolby Atmos sound system.

The display itself supports 100% of the DCI-P3 colour gamut for accurate, vivid colours, says ASUS, and it is DisplayHDR True Black 500 certified for deep blacks and brilliant highlights. The OLED panel has a blistering 0.2ms response time as well, along with better eye protection with naturally lower blue light levels.

A smart amplifier is used to safely drive the four wide-range speakers at their maximum possible distortion-free volume, which is up to 3.5 times louder than with a standard amplifier, according to the company.

Its versatile design makes it a nifty companion on the go, along with the handy ASUS Pen 2.0, an MPP 2.0-compliant stylus with 4,096 pressure levels, four swappable tips, and one-click Bluetooth functions via a shortcut button. The four interchangeable pen tips have different textures that mimic 2H, H, HB, and B pencils, providing a more natural feel for sketching and drawing.

The magnetically attached keyboard, large touchpad, and cover stand make it endlessly adaptable to any
situation and users can enjoy easy connectivity via the dual USB-C ports, audio jack and microSD card

It is powered by the new octa-core Intel Core i3-N300 processor, which also delivers better battery life than its predecessor. On top of that, it has a 256GB UFS 2.1 SSD and 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM.

The Vivobook 13 Slate OLED is now available at S$1,249 at the ASUS Exclusive Store, ASUS Online Store, and all authorised retailers.

The price might sound steep but take note that the Vivobook 13 Slate OLED comes with all the accessories in the box, such as the detachable keyboard and stylus. For yet another another point of view, the Android-based Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 series costs just as much as the Vivobook 13 Slate OLED, but you get all the freedom of a Windows-based machine.
