ASUS today announced the release of the Vivo AiO V241, its latest all-in-one machine that aims to bring the convenience of the AIO form factor to the masses.
It starts at just S$1,249 with the following specifications:
- 23.8-inch 1,920 x 1,080-pixel NanoEdge display
- Intel Core i5-7200U processor (2.5GHz, 3MB L3 cache)
- 8GB DDR4 2,133MHz RAM
- NVIDIA GeForce GTX 930MX 2GB
- 1TB 7,200RPM SATA HDD
- Windows 10 Home (64-bit)
- 540.6 x 47.9 x 409.15mm
- 5.3kg
You don’t get an SSD for that price, but there is the option to configure the AIO with one if you’re willing to pay more.
The Vivo AiO V241 also comes with dual speakers than are up to 2.7 times larger than those on the previous generation Vivo AiO models. ASUS says they use an advanced bass reflex design to deliver smoother and more powerful bass, in addition to clearer and fuller sound.
But the standout feature is probably the screen and its super-slim bezels. Dubbed the NanoEdge display, the panel is framed by svelte 2mm bezels, effectively giving it an edge-to-edge look and an impressive 88 per cent screen-to-body ratio.
ASUS is also claiming up to 100 per cent coverage of the sRGB color space and 178-degree viewing angles, which should make for a more pleasant viewing experience.
Finally, the screen features a matte anti-glare coating to help minimize reflections.
When it comes to ports and connectors, you’ll find a decent selection I/O options, including four rear-mounted USB 3.1 (Gen 1) Type-A ports, an HDMI output, and a Gigabit Ethernet port.
The Vivo AiO V241 is now available to buy at all ASUS Brand Stores and authorized retailers.
