ASUS has announced a bunch of new peripherals targeted at gamers on the go. The ROG Falchion, ROG Cetra RGB gaming headphones, and ROG Strix XG16 gaming display are all designed to cater to someone who's always on the move, and ASUS is positioning all three as a way to upgrade your mobile gaming experience.

The ROG Falchion is the most interesting of the lot. It is a compact 65% wireless keyboard that also features an interactive touch panel on the left that can be used to adjust the volume or play and pause music. You can even use it to zoom in and out on your screen, which sounds pretty nifty. On top of that, the panel can be programmed for use as a macro key, and the RGB LEDs inside the touch panel indicate battery status in real-time.

ASUS is claiming an ultra-fast 1ms latency over a 2.4GHz connection and up to 400 hours of battery life, which sounds pretty impressive. The keyboard comes equipped with tactile Cherry MX RGB switches, according to ASUS, but it stopped short of specifying the exact switch type. Finally, the ROG Falchion comes bundled with its own keyboard cover case to make transporting it slightly easier. What's its actual performance and usability like? Find out how it fared in our review.

Then there's the ROG Cetra, which supports multiple platforms via a USB-C connection, including smartphones, PC, Mac, and the Nintendo Switch. It features active noise cancellation technology and an ambient mode that will allow gamers to quickly let external sound in when needed. The ROG Cetra is also equipped with 10mm ASUS Essence drivers that have been tuned for gaming audio and a stronger low end.

The ROG Cetra also ships with three sizes of silicon tips and ear fins, in addition to a pair of foam tips, so you can pick the one that suits you best. Of course, there's customisable RGB lighting here as well, so you can tweak it to fit your personal style.

Finally, the ROG Strix XG16 portable gaming display is a 15.6-inch 1,920 x 1,080-pixel IPS screen with a built-in battery and a speedy 144Hz refresh rate. It features two USB-C ports and one Micro HDMI port for more flexible connectivity and the ability to recharge while in use. A kickstand at the back can be opened by up to 70°, enabling the screen to be used in both landscape or portrait mode for more comfortable and convenient viewing on the move.

The rear of the display adopts the cybertext pattern that ASUS has been quite fond of lately, giving it a slightly futuristic look. The ROG Strix XG16 will work with the ROG Tripod too, so you can position it above your laptop for a dual-screen setup.

Local pricing and availability will be announced closer to launch.
