ASUS reveals launch date for the Zenfone 11 Ultra

The ASUS Zenfone 11 Ultra will debut on 14 March.

ASUS has officially announced the global launch date for the Zenfone 11 Ultra.

The Taiwanese company announced on X that the Zenfone 11 Ultra will debut at an online event on 14 March, 8pm (SGT).

The ASUS Zenfone 11 Ultra comes with the tagline "Expand Your Vision" and four key features were highlighted on its website. They are:

  • HyperSteady for ultra-smooth video stability
  • Long-lasting battery
  • Ultra size for a bigger experience
  • Portrait mode for videos

Rumours suggest that the Zenfone 11 Ultra would be a rebranded ROG Phone 8 Pro, which was unveiled last month at CES 2024. Based on the teaser image, the Zenfone 11 Ultra does look like the ROG Phone 8 Pro– just look at those slim screen bezels and the punch-hole camera in the centre.

The Zenfone 11 Ultra is tipped to sport a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with refresh rates of up to 120Hz, and be powered by the  Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip with up to 16GB RAM, up to 512GB internal storage space.

It's also expected to have a triple-rear lens system (50MP Sony IMX890 primary + 13MP ultra-wide with 120-degree field of view + 32MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom), a 32MP RGBW selfie camera, and a substantial 5,500mAh battery.
