ASUS releases a 5.5-inch variant of the ZenFone 3 Max with an upgraded rear camera

Adding to its already huge portfolio of smartphones, ASUS has a new ZenFone 3 variant on the market, a 5.5-inch version of its ZenFone 3 Max (which originally launched as a 5.2-inch phone back in October 2016).

The ZenFone 3 Max (ZC553KL) sports a 4,100mAh capacity battery that ASUS says gives its a 38 day standby time. Like the original ZenFone 3 Max, it also sports reverse-charging capabilities that lets you charge other devices.

The phone sports the same sandblasted aluminum-alloy design with diamond-cut chamfered edges, and contoured 2.5D glass as the original ZenFone 3 Max but the rear camera has been upgraded to a 16-megapixel shooter TriTech (phase detection, continuous and laser focus) autofocus. Other specs include a mid-range Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor, a Full HD display, and a fingerprint sensor on the rear of the phone.

The ASUS ZenFone 3 Max (ZC553KL) is available now for S$328 in Titanium Gray, Glacier Silver, Rose Pink and Sand Gold at StarHub, M1, Challenger, Newstead, Best Denki, Gain City and all ASUS Concept Stores.
