Shortly after the announcement of Intel's new 9th generation Core processors for notebooks, ASUS has decided to give its ROG line-up of gaming notebooks a thorough refresh.

This isn't just a simple internal update like what we saw earlier this year when some the ROG notebooks got updated with NVIDIA's new RTX GPUs.

This is a thorough refresh of the entire ROG line-up with updated processors and some even with new chassis and features.

ASUS has fittingly called this their "ROG Spring 2019 Collection" and here's table showing the new models that we can be expecting very soon.

The collection spans a range of form factors, screen sizes, CPU and GPU options, and prices.

For gamers seeking the best in mobile gaming, there's the ROG Mothership GZ700 and ROG G703. Both are 17.3-inch behemoths packing overclockable processors and the top-of-the-line NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 GPU.

Gamers seeking something sleeker should look at the Zephyrus range of notebooks. Despite their slimness, certain Zephyrus models can still be equipped with a GeForce RTX 2080 GPU.

And finally, value-conscious gamers can rejoice at the new Strix Scar III and Strix Hero III. And to appeal to an even wider audience, ASUS has introduced the new Strix G, their new entry-level ROG gaming notebook. These notebooks received the most significant updates, so head over here to learn more.

More details about local availability and pricing will be revealed next month, so stay tuned right here for the latest news.
