ASUS and Hoolah kick off their first Buy-Now-Pay-Later partnership here in Singapore

By now, most of us should at least have a rudimentary understanding of how ecommerce and digital payment applications work. They're meant to provide quick and clean shopping experiences, so regardless of which ones you primarily use, the common denominator across the board is convenience.

Building on that, ASUS is teaming up with Hoolah to roll out a similar system in Singapore as well as other Asia Pacific countries, and what's more, now you won't have to worry about paying for your items immediately.

With their new Buy-Now-Pay-Later (BNPL) partnership with Hoolah inked and ready to go, ASUS customers will be able to split their payments into three separate, interest-free sums when they make purchases via Hoolah in-store or online. To some degree, you're essentially buying these items on credit, but unlike conventional credit card purchases where the interest can jack up the overall amount you fork out, you'll be able to rest easy with this new BNPL service - the amount you pay for your ASUS laptops or equipment won't change a cent from start to finish.

Not only does this make such "credit" purchases (for ASUS items, at least) much easier to account for within your monthly budget, it's also a great way of reaching out to the younger demographic, who tend to rely more on such digital payment applications and services. As for what ASUS plans to do with this initiative going forward, Singapore is currently the only market enjoying the benefits, but the company has since expressed that it will expand it to more countries in the Asia Pacific region soon.
