Assassin's Creed Valhalla's new expansion The Siege of Paris launches today
What, you thought this game couldn’t get any bigger?
Ubisoft has announced that Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s next major expansion, The Siege of Paris is available to play today. The expansion takes players into Francia, where they will find a new story campaign along with new weapons, abilities, gear and skills. Plus, the return of fan-favourite Black Box missions!
Watch a trailer for the expansion below:
In The Siege of Paris, Eivor sets off on a dangerous path across the Frankish countryside towards one of the most infamous battles in Viking history. New enemies will be made, but new weapons and abilities can also be found to combat them. Black Box Missions return in the form of Infiltration Missions, which allow players to choose the best way to eliminate their designated target as tactically as they’d like.
The Siege of Paris is available for all Season Pass owners, or as a separate purchase for anyone who already owns the main game. To access it, you’ll need to complete one of the first two narrative arcs in England (Grantebridgescire or Ledecestrescire) after arriving from Norway. When in Ravensthorpe, Eivor will be able to meet visitors from Francia who offer suspicious presents, after which they will find their way to Francia. There is no mandatory power level to play The Siege of Paris, but Ubisoft recommends around 200.
Ubisoft has bolstered Assassin’s Creed Valhalla with lots of free and paid DLC, but the company has not announced any further expansions beyond The Siege of Paris for now. This might be Eivor’s last great Viking adventure, so don’t miss out. It’s worth noting that Eivor could always return in the future, as Ubisoft’s next Assassin’s Creed game plans to cover multiple time periods and protagonists.
The Siege of Paris costs S$32.90.
