Note: This article has been updated with additional pricing details.

This is the Arlo Ultra camera and the Arlo SmartHub.

Arlo is officially launching its flagship wireless security camera, the Arlo Ultra, in Singapore.

Like the rest of the Arlo lineup, the Arlo Ultra is a compact security camera that is completely wireless and water resistant, which gives users freedom of placement.

It has a 8-megapixel image sensor and can record footage at up to 4K (3,840 x 2,160 pixels) resolution with up to 12x digital zoom. It also has a wide 180-degree of field view and auto track and zoom functionality.

It also has an dewarping feature so your footage comes without that nasty fisheye distortion that's typical of wide angle cameras.

And fret not when it gets dark because the Arlo Ultra has night vision courtesy of high-powered infrared LEDs. And if that's not enough, it also has an ultra-bright integrated spotlight that is motion-activated.

It also has a dual microphone array so that you can communicate through the Arlo Ultra using the Arlo app.

The Arlo app also provides notifications, real-time video footage, and remote control functions so you that you can remotely sound the alarm or quick dial the police.

As I mentioned earlier, the Arlo Ultra is completely wirelessly and its internal rechargeable battery offers between 3 to 6 months of battery life. Arlo also sells outdoor charging cables if you wish to avoid the hassle of periodically recharging the battery.

Speaking of accessories, Arlo also has magnetic wall mounts, solar charging panels, and additional rechargeable batteries for the Arlo Ultra.

Managing all the Arlo Ultra cameras is the Arlo SmartHub, which is included when you buy the Arlo Ultra as a bundle. Apart from managing the cameras, the Arlo SmartHub also has a microSD card slot for storing video footage.

You can also opt to store the footage in the cloud using Arlo Smart Premier. Each purchase of the Arlo Ultra comes with a free one-year subscription of Arlo Smart Premier that's worth (S$143.88) and stores up to 10 cameras worth video (but only up to 1080p and not 4K) and audio recordings.
