Apple's next external monitor said to cost half the price of the Pro Display XDR
Apple's next external monitor could arrive later this year with a more affordable price tag.
Mark Gurman of Bloomberg claims the external monitor "is destined to be about half the price of the Pro Display XDR" and may launch this year. With prices starting from S$7,299 for the Pro XDR Display, we are probably looking at a price tag of S$3,650.
Gurman reported in January last year that a more affordable external monitor is in the pipeline. It is believed to be positioned for the mainstream consumer, and lack the brightness and contrast of the Pro Display XDR.
9to5Mac wrote in July 2021 that Apple is testing an external display with a dedicated A13 chipset and Neural Engine. Tipster @dylandkt shared last month that LG Display is developing a 32-inch display panel for Apple.
