Apple's new iPhones to have bigger camera sensors for better image quality

You can expect Apple's upcoming iPhones to sport better camera hardware.

The LG G4 and Samsung Galaxy S6/Note 5 are currently the best camera phones in the market, but Apple will take a shot at the crown with its next generation iPhones.

According to Business Insider, a person within Apple's supply chain claims that the next generation iPhones will sport a bigger camera sensor which can take in more light and take higher quality images. The new iPhones are said to have five-element lenses which are designed to work with the 12-megapixel camera sensors. Six-element lenses are also ordered for future iPhone models.

Earlier in July, a Foxconn employee leaked an alleged document detailing the new camera hardware and specs of the upcoming iPhones. The improved camera hardware will allow the upcoming iPhones to support 4K video and 240fps slow-motion recording.

Apple is expected to hold a launch event on 9th September and could possibly hit the first wave of countries on 18th September
