Apple's GiveBack program lets you recycle old iPhones and iPads for store credit

In celebration of Earth Day, Apple has announced a temporary program called GiveBack, where customers can turn in devices at the Apple Orchard Road store or through Apple.com/sg to be recycled. For every device received from now until 30th April 2018, Apple will make a donation to Conservation International and the customer will receive store credit for eligible devices. iPhones are eligible for up to S$600 store credit, while iPads can receive up to S$415 store credit.

“At Apple, we're constantly working toward smart solutions to address climate change and conserve our planet’s precious resources,” said Lisa Jackson, Apple's vice president of Environment, Policy and Social Initiatives. “In recognition of Earth Day, we are making it as simple as possible for our customers to recycle devices and do something good for the planet through Apple GiveBack.”
