Celebrate World Emoji Day with these new Apple memoji customisations

17 July is World Emoji Day, and in true Apple tradition, they are previewing some of the new memoji customisations that will be available soon in iOS 15.

Users will be able to customise their memojis with over 40 outfits, multicoloured headwear, and new options for glasses.

And as part of Apple's drive to promote accessibility and inclusiveness, there are also new cochlear implants, oxygen tubes, and soft helmet customisation options.

The public beta of iOS 15 is available now. To try, you'll need to sign up for the Apple Beta Software Program.

If you need help installing, 9to5Mac has a detailed guide to walk you through the process.

As usual, back up your device before installing the beta in case something goes wrong. Also, I recommend installing the betas on a secondary device since, well, these are betas that can be unstable and can have bugs.
