Apple will focus on better battery life for the next Apple Watch

The next generation Apple Watch is likely to boast a longer battery life than the current Apple Watch Series 1 and 2.

Market sources told Chinese publication Economic Daily News that the next generation Apple Watch would be manufactured by Quanta Computer, and will come with better performance and better battery life. Apparently, Quanta Computer's main task for the next generation Apple Watch is to improve the battery efficiency. In terms of design, not much changes are expected for the next Apple Watch which will be released in the third quarter of this year.

The current Apple Watch Series 1 and 2 are stated to have a battery life of up to 18 hours. In comparison, Samsung claims its Gear S3 is able to last up to four days on a single charge. Apple clearly has a lot to catch up in this aspect.
