Apple Watch ranked first in customer satisfaction in new J.D. Power survey

According to a new survey by market research company J.D. Power, the Apple Watch is the top ranked smartwatch.

Out of a possible score of 1000, the Apple Watch managed a score of 852. 

Samsung, which released its Gear S2 smartwatch late last year, was second in the survey with a score of 842.

Sony and Fitbit followed closely behind with scores of 840 and 839 respectively, while LG rounded up the top five places with a score of 827.

The survey polled 2,696 customers who purchased a smartwatch in the past year. Scores are based on ease of use, comfort, battery life, price, durability, display size, design and more.
