Apple Vision Pro said to launch in March 2024
The Apple Vision Pro could be available to purchase in the US by Q1 2024.
Mark Gurman of Bloomberg claims Apple initially wanted to launch the Vision Pro in January 2024, but the device is still not ready for launch. Instead, Apple is now looking at launching the Vision Pro "sometime around March".
Unlike the roll-out of the iPhone, iPad, and MacBooks, the availability of the Apple Vision Pro will be limited to the Apple retail stores.
Bloomberg reported in July that Apple is considering an appointment-based system in its retail stores to provide a highly personal and curated experience for consumers. This is not unlike what Apple did when it launched the Apple Watch. The company wants to make sure customers set up their Vision Pro headsets properly and get the best experience.
International roll-out of the Apple Vision Pro is slated for the end of 2024 with the UK and Canada said to be in the first wave of countries. Asia and the rest of Europe will follow soon after.
Word on the street is that authorized third-party retailers will not start selling the Vision Pro until at least 2025.
