Last week, we reported that Bloomberg expects Apple to launch its Vision Pro headset by February 2024. Now, a second source has corroborated that timeline.

According to famous Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the headset is currently in mass production and it will "most likely hit the stores shelves in late January or early February."

Kuo also predicts that Apple will ship around 500,000 units and states that the Vision Pro will be the company's most important product for 2024.

Our take on the rumour:

This is the second time we are hearing of a January and February launch and the timing makes sense. Apple themselves said it would be available "early next year" and the timing gives them enough time ahead of a likely Spring event that would likely focus on iPads.

Remember, 2023 is the first year ever that Apple didn't announce any new iPads. All eyes are on the iPad Pro as there are rumours that it will get an all-new display on top of Apple's latest M3 chips. There are also rumours that point toward a larger 12.9-inch iPad Air.
