Apple is not likely to release new Macs in the last two months of 2022 according to Mark Gurman of Bloomberg.

In his latest newsletter, Gurman says the new 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models should be announced by the first half of March 2023. This will coincide with the release of macOS Ventura 13.3 and iOS 16.3. Gurman previously said the new Macs are coming "over the next several months".

The new launch timeframe was revealed during last week's earning calls when Apple CEO Tim Cook said the Mac lineup is "set" for this holiday season. Apple CFO Luca Maestri gave a stronger hint as he estimates Mac revenue to drop significantly year over year during this December quarter.

Gurman added that Apple continues to test versions of the Mac mini with the M2 chip. As for the Mac Pro, it is still on track to launch next year although Apple did not meet its self-imposed timeline of switching the entire Mac lineup to its own chips.
