Apple might launch its video streaming service app on Android phones and tablets.

Tipster @VNchocoTaco shared in a tweet that the Apple TV app is coming soon to Android and is still undergoing internal beta testing.

The tipster emphasises that Apple TV for Android is different from Apple TV for Android TV. The latter can be accessed on streaming devices running on Android TV OS and other devices such as the PS4/5, the Xbox One/Series S/X, and select smart TVs.

This is not the first time that an Apple service is coming to Android phones and tablets. The company launched an official Apple Music app for Android in 2015, before expanding to Amazon Echo speakers and becoming a web player to be used on any device.
