Apple said to unveil AirPods Pro 2 and AirPods Max in new colours this fall
Apple will be updating the AirPods Max with new colour options and AirPods Pro in fall.
Mark Gurman of Bloomberg claims that the AirPods Pro 2 should be unveiled in the fall as the current model has been in the market for close to three years. Gurman reckons that early adopters should already be facing battery issues. He added that consumers can expect a colour refresh for the AirPods Max.
In May 2021, Gurman reported that Apple had no plans to develop a second-generation AirPods Max. The current AirPods Max comes in space grey, silver, green, pink and sky blue. He also said the AirPods Pro 2 may come with new motion sensors, fitness tracking features, and a more rounded shape that fits better into the ear.
Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo shared a similar report last month on the AirPods Pro 2; he believes the new wireless earbuds will be launched in the second half of the year, support lossless audio streaming and have a sound-emitting case.
