Apple said to be working with Carl Zeiss on AR glasses

Apple could be introducing "one more thing" this year which is AR optics.

American blogger and tech evangelist Robert Scoble, who was at the recent CES 2017, claimed that a Zeiss employee confirmed rumors that Apple and Carl Zeiss are working on a pair of AR glasses.  The AR glasses could be announced this year.  Scoble also said that he was puzzled to see no AR products in Zeiss' booth at CES 2017 even though it was located in the middle of the AR space.

Bloomberg reported in November 2016 that Apple is considering to expand into digital glasses and the hardware could be available as early as 2018. The glasses are said to connect wirelessly to the iPhone, display images and other information in the wearer's field of vision, and may use AR.
