Apple rumoured to launch new AirPods and MacBook Pro next month

Apple is expected to launch two new hardware products next month.

Tipster Jon Prosser claims that Apple will be launching the next generation AirPods sometime next month although he has no specific dates to share at the moment. The next generation AirPods are believed to be the "Lite" version that will have the in-ear design of the AirPods Pro without the active noise cancellation.

Prosser added that the new AirPods are likely to launch alongside a new MacBook Pro model. This is said to be the 14-inch MacBook Pro with scissor-switch keyboard which will replace the current 13-inch MacBook Pro.

As for the rumoured high-end noise-cancelling headphones, Prosser expects it to be unveiled at WWDC 2020 in June. Beats X-like "AirPods X" are also believed to be in the works for a launch in September or October.
