Apple removes 512GB and 1TB SSD configuration options for 4K 21.5-inch iMac

If you're shopping for a 4K 21.5-inch iMac, there are only two storage options left to choose.

Apple quietly removed the 512GB and 1TB SSD configuration options for the 4K 21.5-inch iMac. It is not known at the time of publication whether the decision is prompted by a supply issue. This came shortly after the iMac Pro was officially discontinued. Earlier this month, the iMac Pro had a "While stocks last" label.

Bloomberg reported in January that new Mac Pro and iMac models with new designs are slated to launch later this year. Tipster Jon Prosser followed up with purported renders of the new iMac and Mac Pro. A developer also found evidence of an Apple Silicon iMac in the Xcode Crashreporter for macOS, which suggests the product is in the works.
