Apple releases iTunes in the Microsoft Store

First announced at the Build developer conference last year, Apple has finally released iTunes on the Microsoft Store.

Here’s Apple’s description of the app:

iTunes is the easiest way to enjoy your favorite music, movies, TV shows, and more on your PC.

iTunes is also home to Apple Music, where you can listen to millions of songs and your entire music library, online or off — all ad-free. Also, get new music first, radio in every music genre, handpicked playlists, and Beats 1 live or on demand.

To be clear, iTunes has been available on Windows for quite a while already; before this, users can download the desktop app straight from Apple. This move to the Microsoft Store is more significant for Windows 10 S users (or S Mode moving forward), who can only install apps approved by Microsoft and available on the Store.
