It’s taken a while but you can finally buy refurbished versions of Apple’s latest M4-powered Macs on the Apple Online Store.
To recap, Apple announced its first M4-powered Macs in late October last year. There was a brand-new Mac mini and updated versions of the 14 and 16-inch MacBook Pros and the iMac.
The Mac mini deserves special mention because it’s possibly one of the best Macs Apple has ever made. It’s so performant that it boggles the mind. How can something this compact be so powerful? Furthermore, with prices starting at well under a grand, it was also relatively affordable.

And now, you can get it at an even lower price. At the time of writing, you can get the entry-level Mac mini with 10 CPU cores and 10 GPU cores for S$719 – that represents savings of S$130 or around 15%.
As for the MacBook Pro, the refurbished entry-level configuration with 10 CPU cores and 10 GPU cores is going for S$1,869 – that means you save S$330 or 15%.
These are significant discounts and well worth considering especially if you are on a budget.

What’s a refurbished product?
Now, some of you might be wondering what’s a refurbished product. It’s really just a used product that has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected by Apple, and then properly repackaged with all accessories so that it’s as close to new as possible. Furthermore, it comes covered by Apple’s 14-day returns policy and a one-year warranty. It’s a good way to get an Apple device at a discount.
