Apple unveils new yellow colour option for the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus (Updated with live photos)

Apple just announced a new yellow colour option for the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus.

The yellow Apple iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus will be available for pre-order from this Friday, 10 March. It will be available in stores starting next Tuesday, 14 March.

Besides the new yellow option, the Apple iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus are currently available in midnight, starlight, (PRODUCT)Red, blue and purple.

There are also four new colour options for the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus silicone cases, which are canary yellow, olive, sky, and iris.

**Update on 10 March 2023**

I was a bit concerned when I saw the press photos of the new yellow iPhone 14. I had hoped for a brighter shade of yellow and the press photos made it seem too pale. 

Now that I've had my hands on it, I can say that my fears were misplaced. The shade of yellow used looks to me like canary yellow and i just about bright enough without being OTT. 

The sides, however, are more muted – perhaps because of the matte finishing – and reminds me of BMW's Austin Yellow Metallic.
