Apple may unveil a new iPad Mini next year
The iPad Mini lineup may not be dead after all.
According to renowed analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple is likely to unveil a new iPad Mini model although it may not be at the media event on 30 October. The iPad Mini 5 is expected to come with "an upgraded processor and a lower-cost panel". The update is long overdue as Apple did not refresh the iPad Mini lineup since October 2015.
Kuo also reiterated that Apple will announce two new USB-C equipped iPad Pro models with better displays, a "new-design" Apple Pencil and at least three new Macs which include a "low-price" MacBook and a new Mac Mini. The AirPower wireless charging pad could launch in the next two months or early Q1 2019.
