Apple may not release a new, larger-screen iMac anytime soon
Apple may not release a new, larger-screen iMac in the near future
While Apple is expected to unveil its "widest array" of new products this year, a new and bigger iMac Pro may not be one of them according to 9to5Mac.
9to5Mac's sources claim that Apple does not have plans at the moment to release a bigger-screen iMac in the near future. The sources added that there will not be updated models with Pro, Max or Ultra processors. Apple is believed to be working on a new 24-inch iMac for launch in 2023.
Contrary to the latest rumour, reports by two analysts state otherwise. Display analsyt Ross Young shared last month that a mini-LED iMac Pro is likely to launch in August or September. Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo wrote that a new iMac Pro is expected in 2023 although he did not specify if that's a 24-inch or bigger model.
Bloomberg, which has a solid track record of leaks on Apple, says consumers can expect 7 new Mac devices this year including a larger iMac Pro with M1 Pro and M1 Max chip options.
