Apple celebrates 15 years of fighting AIDS with (RED) and offers more ways for customers to support the program.

The company shared that it raised nearly $270 million to fund prevention, testing, and counselling services for people impacted by HIV/AIDS. The Apple-supported grants have provided for more than 192 million HIV tests, support services for over 11 million people, and over 5 million pregnant women with services to prevent mother-to-child transmission of HIV.

This year, Apple unveils new (PRODUCT)RED devices and accessories which include the iPhone 13 (PRODUCT)RED, iPhone 13 mini (PRODUCT)RED, and Apple Watch Series 7 (PRODUCT)RED. Every (PRODUCT)RED purchase will have a portion of the proceeds going directly to the Global Fund to fight AIDS. Apple Watch users can also show their support for (RED) with a selection of 6 Apple Watch faces in red which are available for download from apple.com/sg/product-red/

Hundreds of Apple Store locations will mark World AIDS Day with red logos or window displays throughout the week to raise visibility. The App Store is highlighting Positive Singles, an inclusive dating app to connect singles living with HIV/AIDS and sexually transmitted infections. The app will also provide tips and resources for people who are recently diagnosed.
