There's now an 8TB SSD option for the Mac Pro

When the Mac Pro first went on sale, it was "only" available with a 4TB SSD.

That sounds plenty but then the 16-inch MacBook Pro could be had with an 8TB SSD.

Now, that didn't make sense. How could a smaller notebook be equipped with a larger SSD than Apple's flagship computing device?

Fortunately, there's now an 8TB SSD option for the Mac Pro. And as you would expect, it costs a lot — S$3,640 to be exact.

But that isn't the priciest option you can put on your Mac Pro. That honour goes to the ridiculous 1.5TB worth of DDR4 EEC memory that you can spec with your Mac Pro. That costs an eye-watering S$35,000 (not a typo).

Interestingly, the 8TB SSD option is slightly less on 16-inch MacBook Pro — S$3,080.

As a result, a fully decked out Mac Pro will now set you back S$75,619.

You can order the Mac Pro in the link below.
