If you’re planning to buy an iPhone anytime soon, you might want to look at this two-day promotion happening over at the official Apple Japan website

According to Forbes, Apple Japan is running a two-day campaign between 2 to 3 January 2023 at Apple Stores in Japan and apple.com/jp. It’s pretty simple – if you purchase any of the Apple products on this list, you can receive an Apple Gift card that offsets the promotional Apple product. For instance, Buying an iPad Air nets a JPY8,000 gift card, with the option to use the gift card on the product or to keep the gift card for later use (if we read it correctly).

More interesting is the special edition Apple AirTag to go with this promotion. The first 30,000 buyers of an iPhone 12, iPhone 13, iPhone 13 mini, and iPhone SE in Japan’s physical Apple Store or its website can get a free Year Of The Rabbit AirTag at no extra cost. This special run ends as soon as the last piece of rabbity AirTag is given away. Based on the images in Apple Japan's website, the rabbit is an engraved motif on the tracker.

We don’t know why it’s so cute, but we do know that the Apple AirTag is a must-have if you’re an iOS user that’s prone to misplacing your belongings.
