Everyone knows how big a role new colours play in a launch of a new iPhone. And every year, Apple introduces a special colour for its Pro iPhones.
To recap, iPhone 14 Pro came in Deep Purple and the iPhone 13 Pro came in Sierra Blue.
And according to rumours, the special colour for this year's iPhone 15 Pro could be a shade of dark red.
No names have been given yet but it's been described as burgundy. To me, it looks like red wine. The colour hex code is reportedly #410D0D.
Rumours also say the iPhone 15 could be available in two new colours – one that is a hot pink described as "telemagenta," and another that is a light blue that looks like cyan and is described as "picton blue." Their respective colour hex codes are #CE3C6C and #4DB1E2.
That said, we are still a long way off from September – which is when Apple typically announces its new iPhones – so there's a good chance that the colours may change.
The iPhone 15 Pro will reportedly have a titanium chassis and that could introduce new manufacturing challenges. Apple will need to perfect the coating process and ensure things like yield, production time, and costs stay reasonable.
