Until today, the general consensus is that Apple will unveil its new iPhone SE sometime in March or April. However, the latest rumour says Apple could debut the new iPhone SE as soon as next week.
This comes from Mark Gurman of Bloomberg, who said Apple could release the new iPhone SE “as early as next week”, which means it could be announced anytime between now and Valentine’s Day.
In addition, Gurman says Apple will not hold a launch event for the iPhone SE and will instead announce the device on their website and through a press release.
Pre-orders will likely start immediately after the announcement, and the phone will likely go on sale the week after.
The new iPhone SE is widely expected to feature a design that’s similar to the iPhone 14 and will likely feature Face ID, a single camera, and a USB-C port. It is also speculated that it will be powered by the A18 chip so that it can support Apple Intelligence. Rumours also say that it will have a starting price of around US$499.
