Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max rumoured to have 8GB RAM and periscope lens
Research firm TrendForce just released a report on the Apple iPhone 15 Pro models.
According to TrendForce, Apple is expected to maintain the four-model product lineup for the iPhone 15. Similar to the iPhone 14 lineup, Apple will only equip the iPhone 15 Pro models with the A17 chip while the non-Pro models will continue to use A16 chip.
TrendForce also made similar claims as previous rumours; the iPhone 15 is likely to adopt USB-C and continue using Qualcomm's 5G modems. Other upgrades include 8GB RAM and an improved main camera with "8P" design for the Pro models.
The Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max is said to have the exclusive periscope lens, a claim corroborated by analyst Ming-Chi Kuo in July. A South Korean supplier is reportedly recruited by Apple to build the periscope lens for the iPhone 15 Pro Max.
