Apple to introduce a new storage option for the iPhone 8?
Apple currently offers three storage options (32/128/256GB) for the iPhone 7 lineup. While the company is likely to maintain the same storage options for the iPhone 7s and 7s Plus, the iPhone 8 could be available in a different set of storage options.
Chinese tipster GeekBar创始人磊哥, who has a fairly solid track record of iPhone leaks, claims that the iPhone 8 will be available in 64, 256 and 512GB storage options. If true, the iPhone 8 will follow the same storage configuration as the recently announced iPad Pro models. The 512GB storage option could also be used to reinforce the premium position of the iPhone 8.
The iPhone maker is reportedly planning to unveil the new iPhones on 12 September. However, the iPhone 8 could be available in October or November due to supply constraints.
