Apple increased the cellular download limit for the first time in two years.

Earlier this week, Apple increased the cellular download limit from 150MB to 200MB for the iPhone and iPad. The last increase was in September 2017 from 100MB to 150MB. Users can now download more apps and games over cellular networks.

The cellular download limit is a feature that stops users from downloading apps, games, video podcasts, and other large files from Apple's stores. While some users like the feature for helping to prevent accidental downloads of big files and blowing through their data bundle, other users feel that Apple could have included an option to override the limit so that they can download big files when the need arises.
