Apple will hold its first event of the year early tomorrow morning where it is expected to announce new iPad Pros.

And according to the latest rumours, the new 12.9-inch iPad Pro will be slightly thicker than last year's models.

This rumour comes from an accessory maker, who shared dimensions with MacRumors. The new 12.9-inch iPad Pro will allegedly measure 280.65mm by 215mm by 6.4mm.

This means the new model have nearly identical dimensions except for thickness where it is 0.5mm thicker. It is believed that the additional thickness is to accommodate the mini-LED display.

As for the smaller 11-inch model, the accessory maker says its dimensions will remain the same.

If this rumour proves to be true, hopefully, it won't impact accessories too much. My first thought is compatibility with Apple's excellent but very pricey Magic Keyboard for iPad Pro

Apple is holding its Spring Loaded event early tomorrow morning (21 Apr) at 1am. The two best places to tune in are on Apple's site and on Apple's YouTube page.
