This could be the clearest sign yet that we are getting a 16-inch MacBook Pro

An icon found in the first two betas of macOS Catalina could be the clearest sign yet that Apple has a 16-inch MacBook Pro in the works.

Discovered by MacGeneration, the icon looks similar to the current 15-inch MacBook Pro but has “16” in the filename.

The new 16-inch MacBook Pro icon looks to have slimmer bezels and the filenames suggest that it will come in Silver and Space Gray.

Earlier rumours suggest that Apple will launch the new 16-inch MacBook Pro in October but that seems unlikely seeing that we are already in the tail end of October.

Furthermore, since Apple TV+ launches on 1st November, Apple could hold off a bit before announcing the 16-inch MacBook Pro.
