These Aorus liquid coolers come with customisable LCD displays
Gigabyte has announced its new Aorus Liquid Cooler Series for high-end CPUs. These are the company's first ever AIO cooling solutions for its Aorus line-up, and they'll come with three different radiator sizes – 240mm, 280mm, and 360mm. The coolers will be compatible with both AMD and Intel chips, featuring support for Intel LGA 2066, 2011, 1366, and 115x and AMD's TR4 and AM4 sockets.
This isn't Aorus' first rodeo when it comes to coolers though. The company already makes the ATC800, a beefy air cooler that can supposedly dissipate up to 200W of heat.
One of the standout features of the Aorus AIO coolers is the LCD display on the pump itself. This can be customised using the Aorus Engine software and RGB Fusion 2.0. There are four unique modes to choose from, including Enthusiast Mode, Function Mode, Custom Mode, and Display Rotator.
Enthusiast Mode seems to simply display the Aorus logo, CPU model, and temperature. However, there are three different variants you can pick from, each with a slightly different logo design. The screen can be used to display other information as well, such as fan performance data or even custom images and text. You'll also have the flexibility to rotate the custom images you upload to ensure they fit better.
The coolers use an Asetek Gen6 pump and double ball bearing fans for better durability and efficiency. Of course, the fans feature ARGB lighting as well, and you can customise them to match the pump's LCD display.
Gigabyte didn't provide a release date, except to say that the new coolers will soon be available to buy.
