Another report suggests Samsung is launching the Galaxy S11 as the Galaxy S20

The purported render of the next Samsung Galaxy S phone.

Days after a popular tipster shared that Samsung may debut the next generation S phones as the S20, another report supports this narrative.

WinFuture claims that Samsung will be dropping the “e” naming convention. In addition, Samsung is adding an “Ultra” moniker for the top-end model. This means that we could be looking at S20, S20+ and S20 Ultra as the official names for the upcoming phones.

Samsung has skipped a generation when it launched the ill-fated Galaxy Note7, the successor of the Galaxy Note 5. If both reports turn out to be true, Samsung will be skipping a whole series of numbers for the next Galaxy S phones.
