The Apple iPhone 15 Pro models could cost more when they launch in September.

Bloomberg reports that Apple is considering to raise the price of the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. The company expects to ship about 85 million iPhones this year.

The Apple iPhone 14 Pro currently retails for S$1664.40 (128GB), S$1,836 (256GB), S$2,169.05 (512GB) and S$2,502.15 (1TB). The Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max is priced at S$1,815.80 (128GB), S$1,987.40 (256GB), S$2,320.45 (512GB), and S$2,653.55 (1TB).

Earlier this year, Haitong International Securities analyst Jeff Pu made a similar claim, attributing the price hike to the use of a titanium chassis, periscope lens, and more RAM.

Apple CEO Tim Cook also made a subtle hint during an earnings call this year that consumers can be persuaded to spend more and they "are willing to really stretch to get the best they can afford in that category".

On the rumours of a possible delay in the launch and limited supplies at launch, Bloomberg says the production issue will be resolved in a couple of weeks and there "will not be a noticeable impact on overall production".
