Another report claims Apple to introduce more color options for 2018 iPhone
Following TF International Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo’s report, reliable tipster @OnLeaks tweeted that Apple is currently testing new color options for the upcoming iPhone.
@OnLeaks revealed in his tweet that white, black (likely space gray), gray (light gray), red, blue, yellow, orange and pink are currently being tested. In response to a follower’s query about a green option, @OnLeaks posted that green was initially being considered, but it was scrapped in the end.
While Kuo claimed in his report that the 6.1-inch LCD iPhone model will be available in grey, white, blue, red and orange, @OnLeaks did not specify which iPhone model will come in these colors.
This is the third report suggesting that Apple is introducing new color options for the upcoming iPhone. Rosenblatt analyst Jun Zhang reported in May that Apple’s strategy of introducing multiple, bright colors for the 6.1-inch LCD iPhone model is to set it apart from the OLED models and to appeal to a younger consumer segment.
