Another car caught fire after the Galaxy Note7 exploded while being charged

Despite numerous warnings from government agencies, airlines and Samsung, consumers continued to use the Galaxy Note7 which resulted in yet another accident.

A Daily Mail story reports that a car was engulfed in flames on a highway in Florida after a Galaxy Note7 exploded in the passenger seat while being charged. The driver reportedly heard a loud pop before the phone exploded. An 8-second video was captured by another driver who stopped to offer help.

The latest incident occured less than a week after a family jeep was set on fire by a Galaxy Note7. In addition, more than 70 cases of exploding Galaxy Note7 devices have been reported in the USA alone. Samsung has issued a global advisory to its customers to power down their devices and have them exchanged as soon as possible.
