Anker's new Soundcore Liberty 4 earbuds has heart-rate tracking, ANC, and spatial audio
The newest true wireless earbuds to join Anker's lineup is the Liberty 4. Though it keeps its entry-level-esque price tag – US$149.99 (~S$210) – it comes chock-full of features.
Apart from the usual features like ANC and transparency hearing modes, the Liberty 4 is also one of the few earbuds to feature an in-ear heart rate sensor. Users can get their heart rate data in the Soundcore app.
That aside, the Liberty also features spatial audio with 360-degree dynamic head tracking thanks to a built-in gyroscope that's inside the earbuds.
As for sound quality, the Liberty 4 has a dual-driver configuration that's augmented by a treble tube designed to minimise high-frequency energy loss and ensure accurate treble reproduction up to 40kHz.
Owners of newer Android devices will be happy to know that the Liberty 4 also supports the LDAC wireless codec.
Anker claims up to 9 hours of battery life on a single charge and up to 28 hours with the charging case. The charging case juices up over USB-C and supports wireless charging.
