Accessory maker Anker just released two MagSafe-style chargers for the Apple iPhone 12.

The first MagSafe-style accessory is the PowerWave Magnetic Pad. Similar to Apple's MagSafe charger, the Anker PowerWave Magnetic Pad will snap magnetically into place to ensure alignment and a strong hold.

Anker claims it will work "flawlessly" with compatible MagSafe phone cases. While Apple's MagSafe charger delivers up to 15W charging speeds, the PowerWave Magnetic Pad tops at 7.5W

The PowerWave Magnetic Pad comes with a built-in 5ft USB-C cable, but no charger. It is priced at US$21.99 (~S$29.15), which costs less than half the price of the S$59 Apple MagSafe charger.

The second MagSafe-style accessory from Anker is the PowerWave Magnetic 2-in-1 Stand. As the name suggests, it is able to charge the iPhone 12 on the stand and the AirPods on the charging pad. You can also place the iPhone 12 vertically or horizontally, and adjust the viewing angle up to 30°.

Like the PowerWave Magnetic Pad, the PowerWave Magnetic 2-in-1 Stand does not come with a charger. The bundled 1.2m USB-C cable needs to be paired with a USB-C charger rated at 20W or higher to deliver 7.5W max charging to the iPhone 12. In addition, the wireless charging pad for the AirPods will not function properly when using USB-C chargers with 5V/2.4A output or below.

Anker also cautions users that leather iPhone cases may show compression marks when used with the PowerWave Magnetic 2-in-1 Stand.

The PowerWave Magnetic 2-in-1 Stand is priced at US$36 (~S$47.70). Compared to Apple's MagSafe charger and Belkin's MagSafe accessories, Anker's offerings seem to be the better deal for iPhone 12 users.
